Awesome speakeasy in Albuquerque. The staff was extremely friendly and nice and the vibe was so cool. Walk thru a liquor store and enter thru the freezer for a cocktail adventure. The drinks were all very well made and the selection of hard liquor was excellent. The bartender was super nice and very good about selection and attended to us as well as she could given she was the only one. The drinks were excellent at her suggestions and and would love to come back to try the rest and the collection.

The cocktails were wonderful. What was not so wonderful was the homophonic language I experienced during my visit by one of the male bartenders. When my friend spoke up and confronted him about his language, we were kicked out. This bar is great—but the one guy bartender needs to learn how not to use inappropriate language; particularly when in earshot of customers.

This place in downtown Albuquerque is a total vibe! This cozy hideaway with its black-and-white checkered walls, hums with lively chatter and exceptional service! The password entry adds a fun touch. The San Francisco Pisco punch was a revelation - perfectly blending spicy and fruity notes. For an unforgettable night, Founders is the place to be.

Love coming to founders. drinks are so delicious you just want more and more. Vibes are mysterious and dark. Fun little place to go on dates and enjoy each others company.

I really thought this place was so awesome but I quickly found out that it wasn’t to start I was excited to come to this bar because of how unique it was so when I first came In there was a guy at the front with glasses and asked for my id and my partners and then we told him we wanted to go downstairs and he asked us for a password and it was weird for us because we didn’t know we needed a password to get into a bar which I know it was the whole point but we weren’t aware and their website didn’t specify so we asked the guy for the password and he said he couldn’t give it to us, that we had to look it up online and before that when he looked at my id and looked at me he gave me an ugly face, and overall I felt the vibes really wierd and almost if I have been discriminated against he could’ve just easily told us the password or could’ve helped us look for it this one time and could’ve been easy but I see he doesn’t like certain people coming into speak easy…
