I have been visiting this shop several times over the past couple of months and am purchasing non alcoholic wines which Is new for me. Every time I have received advice, help and just superior customer service. Today was an example: while checking out with Teresa I asked about the availability of a case. She immediately called another staff member who searched and found exactly what I wanted. I should also note that Teresa has been a great help and has a personality that is positive and ensures a happy visit.

We love going here to explore and try new wines. There was a wine we saw online but were unable to find it in the store. The employee was quick to help us and get the wine down from storage. Great customer service!

Excellent new store. Fantastic selection, much better than Bevmo. Super friendly staff ready to help. Great lighting. Large parking lot. Extremely huge wine selection. Tons of booze, out of this world selection. Immense craft beer selection. Large cigar selection. You can even fill your Growlers here.

Love coming here! The staff is always so helpful, gives great recommendations, and are lovely to chat with. Jeff and Alexis have helped me recently, and they are both awesome. I love trying anything they recommend, but all around the staff is great at hosting the tastings, the store is clean, and the staff is helpful and friendly.

I understand businesses have the right to create their own policies, but this experience made absolutely no sense. My wife and I, both 30 years old, walked into the store without being asked for ID. We spent time browsing and selecting products, and there was no indication that everyone in our party would need to provide identification. When I got to the register to make the purchase, I was told that not only did I need to show my ID, but my wife did as well even though she was not purchasing anything. From my understanding, Washington law requires retailers to verify that alcohol is not being sold to someone underage, but requiring identification from adults who are not making the purchase seems excessive and disconnected from the actual purpose of age verification. If Total Wine’s policy is that everyone in a group must be 21 and provide ID, then that should be communicated when customers enter the store, not after they’ve spent time shopping and reached the register. Again, this wasn’t a situation where someone was underage trying to buy alcohol. We are both 30 years old. The issue is that the policy feels arbitrary, poorly communicated, and creates an unnecessarily frustrating customer experience.
