Stopped in pretty late tonight to grab a drink and decided to grab a burger. Well for one about an hour after eating the burger my stomach starts to hurt really bad, so I hope it’s not food poisoning. Now on to the burger. I’m sorry but this was the worst burger I have ever ate in my entire life. The burger is ridiculously thin and they put it on a big thick bun and load it up on lettuce which I’m sure this gives the customer the illusion it’s a pretty decent size burger and in fact it’s just bun and lettuce. Now the worst part was the meat literally had no flavor to it whatsoever especially for $6.99 for a burger. I could have definitely went to Burger King and got a whopper for $5 and would have been a lot happier or a quarter pounder from McDonald’s and would have been more satisfying. Whoever thinks the burgers here are good needs to get out more because they are just full of it or just don’t know good food or it’s a fake review.

I love our neighborhood spot! Fried Shrimp Combo comes with a stacked sandwich of fried shrimp, lettuce & tomato (I request no mayo) on soft bread with crinkle cut fries.

Rainbow grocery is the kind of a little hole in the wall convenience store in New Orleans that – when you actually get in there - opens up to all manner of convenience. From the cash register, I could not see the fact that they had an awesome wine selection and alcohol, coffee service, and even a hot food kitchen. Moried, our host at the cash register, told me that he moved here from Palestine 15 years ago. Between his income from cashiering and also construction work, he finds it possible to fly back to Palestine on a regular basis. He was a very warm, soft-spoken, gracious host. I recommend this little store highly.

Nice store. Prices are reasonable and the food in the kitchen is amazing. I recommend the Philly cheese. The staff and employees are friendly and welcoming.

Unbelievable; 10/10 late night poboy experience. Authentic New Orleans food store; excellent vibes, hot sausage poboy fully dressed with pepperjack….say no more
