Straight out of a twilight zone episode. When I first walked in it appeared normal and then I realized that I couldn't actually get the the alcohol; it's barricaded. There are no prices. I asked if I was just missing it or where could I see the price. They said, there's no price. Uhhhhh? What? ............. So I walked out and went to a place (seriously any other place) that actually has pricing; either on the bottle, on the shelf, or those adorable handwritten florescent ones....

Me and my friend were buying Seagram's from them because we like shop locally. The box handle ripped and dropped on the ground. We were happy to pay for it. The lady behind the counter rushed out front and kept screaming “YOU BREAK IT YOU BUY IT”in a very rude manner. We told them we would be happy too buy it, but then started yelling at us to go put it outside because she has to send an employee to pick it up, Because she “doesn’t drink and the smell makes her sick” We proceeded to put it outside and grab a new box. While standing in line the lady started talking about us with another customer very loudly. We jumped in saying we would pay for it and this new box, and it was an accident of the original box breaking, and it’s not ok to talk about us when we are right there. The lady and customer kept making excuses for why they were being rude to us. At this point I put the new box away and still paid for the broken box. At this point me and my friend were upset and so we threw out ids on the counter, the lady proceeded to say “now you want to talk about rude, that’s rude” and this point I look at her and say “maybe you shouldnt talk about customers to other customers, then possibly we could be kinder” It really was disappointing Experiance considering johnnys has been around since my grandfather was a kid. I’m sure the originally owner would be rolling in his grave with how awful the service is now. A shame for a wonderful business to go down hill.

Don't judge it by the outside. It's located next to a bus stop and the lingering of many questionable people had kept me from going in. Howeve, once I did I was greeted by a clean and very organized store with a delightful woman/owner who took the time to chat with me and gave me a glass. I will return!

Great experience! I read some of the other reviews that say the owner was rude. She was extremely nice to my husband and I. Had everything we wanted plus. Thank you!

The gal running the store was so sweet! The store was really nice and the prices were reasonable. I will be back for more booze and conversation.
