Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had at a liquor store. My sister went in first, and the staff told her her ID was “invalid.” This was odd because she’s never had a single problem with it anywhere else — in fact, she had been in this exact store just a week earlier and wasn’t even ID-checked at all. She called me because she was frustrated, and since I live close by, I came down to help. From the moment I walked in, the guy behind the counter seemed suspicious for no reason. When I handed him my ID, it was like he couldn’t do basic math. I was born in September 2000 — I’m 24 years old and will be 25 in just a month — yet he acted like this was some complicated calculation. He claimed my ID wouldn’t scan, which has never been an issue anywhere else. I told him this was the first time I’d ever had this problem, and I literally handed him my money while saying, “Look at my ID and do the math.” Meanwhile, he had just sold alcohol to two men right before us without any issue, so I have no clue what the problem was. Eventually, I got so fed up that I told him to give me my money back. He just stood there, deer-in-the-headlights, holding my cash. I had to snatch it back myself and walk out. Went down the street to J’s Liquor instead — no problem at all. My ID scanned perfectly, they verified my age in seconds, and I was on my way. I will never return to Filmore Liquors and will be warning others. Between staff incompetence, shady behavior, and inconsistent ID checks, I can’t help but wonder how many underage sales they’ve made. This place is a disaster.

Not many cold beer options. Other than that has basic staples in a pinch for a liquor store.

They are great. They know there regulars. Guru is open most holidays and stays open till 12 everyday of the week. Prices are cheaper than others in the area. Has a large variety of vapes.

Great place! Can come in get what you need and feel like sometimes you want to go where everybody knows your name!
