DO NOT DOORDASH THROUGH THEM. Have given them three chances. They use their own drivers from the store instead of hiring a door dash driver. So when I order on DoorDash I don’t end up getting my order until 1.5-2 hours later , everytime . 80% of the time they don’t answer the phone .

This store makes its own deliveries and doesn't involve a third party service. This is a plus if something goes wrong or you need to contact a driver who actually knows the store and options for problem-solving. I was delivered a cracked bottle, which neither the driver nor I knew about until I stepped in a puddle of whiskey and an empty bottle. You might think this would lead me to giving a negative review, but I received a text message from the driver himself asking how he could make it right and told me right away to ask for a refund on Door Dash which would be immediately approved. The store followed up and made good on their promise. The driver even returned with a new bottle on his own time. These actions tell me they truly care about their customers, and I've never had such personalized service from an establishment. I will definitely order from them again.

I’ve only ordered on DoorDash but I’m very impressed by their delivery speed and an employee went out of their way to deliver my order when they were supposed to be closed on DoorDash once and forgot to close the app. I thought that was really going above and beyond and I really appreciated it!

It is actually not a drive threw liquor store. Convieniently located. Very nice employees. Pretty rough neighborhood. Near the highway. old part of town. Convienient store next door. Hotel on the other side. Thanks again for your time and consideration of watching out for customers backs. Good job. Rough neighborhood to be walking around in. Lots of transients. Enter this area of town with caution. No drive by shootings & that's good. Just lots of homeless around the area.

I've been going to Drive-In (it's not) Liquors a long time. They don't have a great selection, but they have a fair one. It isn't in a rough neighbor, as someone else described, but it is just off downtown and the freeway, so that plays into some of the less charming aspects. Nor, is the lot, or insides, pretty. I would also agree that some of the employees are less than friendly (or have been). Regardless, you can find most of what you are looking for (not heavy on craft, but a fair selection). Prices? Hit and miss. I go because it is convenient, and it does the job.
