National Liquor & Wine

National Liquor & Wine has an excellent selection of liquor, beer, and other alcoholic beverages. Of course they sell other beverages besides alcohol such as, soda, energy drinks, lemonade, etc. They also have an ATM for convenience. Additionally tobacco products are available for sale. Customer service is excellent; I've frequented this store and they're good people. This a store I would definitely go to because I in fact do.

I will give this store 4 stars only because of my long history with this store and the fourth star is more for me than them. The store is located in a part of town with questionable ethics(to say the least) but just because we operate a business in a slinky part of town doesn`t mean we have to become slinky too! Our hope is to shine a light in the darkness, not to become the same as the darkness!

This small store on the corner of 35th National serves alot of people regularly. They greet you with kindness. The store is typically clean. The environment is safe. At a busy time you may wait in line for a bit. Oh well it comes with the territory, called life. 😊

The cool thing about these little corner stores is that they will sell you just one bottle of bud light or just one twinky out of a box of twinkys. Nice guy doing the cashier work. He calls everyone boss. Prices are cheap.

They don't always have what you're looking for - sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. It can be difficult to get an answer to your questions. Or at least it was for me when I wanted to know the price for a 4 pack of a particular brand of beer. First what looked like a homeless heard me ask myself "I wonder how much this is" and he said "I'll ask 'em." But they kept ignoring him at the counter. I heard an employee snoring on a crate around the corner from me so I yelled out to him "Excuse me, sir, how much is this?" but he just erupted into a fit of slobs and coughs and went right back to sleep. I had to take the product all the way to the front of the store to find out when in all reality the price should have already been listed. I do appreciate the fact that they carry liquor at all, however, and not all of the employees are rude.
