A true North Campus staple – they were there for us even during the winter freeze! Speedway Market is simply irreplaceable for anyone living near North Campus. The staff are always the nicest, the store is always well-stocked, and they have genuinely been there for the community through thick and thin – including staying open during the winter freeze so people could still access food when everywhere else was closed. That kind of dedication to the neighborhood is something you never forget. One of the things I miss most about North Campus. A true Austin gem!

my holy Grail throughout college. Pretty sure here I go here three times a week. They’re always stocked with good stuff, and always super nice. they have these 1 L waters that are always my go to before work, and has saved me countless times when I’m out of creamer

Best convenience store in town. If you live in the North University area, this is the go-to spot. They have a huge selection of energy drinks (every flavor of Clean ,iykyk), local beers, and a wine selection a sommelier would appreciate. I live down the street and visit Speedway at least once a week. The guys that work there are super friendly as well. Everything is fairly priced in my opinion! P.S. Great place to pick up the Austin Chronicle
