LOVE Peace Street Market. Chris is amazing, and always helpful and friendly. They have a great selection of just about anything you may need on the fly, and their prices are great too. This place is a lovely gem downtown if you’re looking for a quick place to grab snacks, drinks, etc. It’s just an added bonus that Chris makes it a point to recognize you and make you feel like a “neighborhood insider” every time you pop in. Skip the chain places and head here. Shop local!

Unexpectedly the best beer shop in Raleigh. Huge selection to choose from - domestic, local, international (great variety of German/Bavarian beer) but also carry several wines and thc drinks if you're into that. The shopkeeper is so kind and always has the best jazz playlist on. I always find something new here and can depend on it for my favorites.

I can't really even express how awesome this shop is. Went in looking for a bottle of wine and some beers. Expecting the norm you'd get from a gas station but noooo. This place is a hidden treasure! From Aisles of IPAs to Aisles of wine. It's a willy wonka for late night booze hunters. Staff were ever so friendly and it's open EVERY day of the year 6am-2am. Warning: you will be overwhelmed with choice so set aside a lengthy time to process if you want to try something different. I don't drink ales but even I was amazed by the choices. Chilled sparkling wines on offer as well. Truly an Oasis in the heart of downtown Raleigh. 5 stars isn't even enough in my cart. Dare an avid drinker, with taste and and openmindness towards new things, to go in and out in 10 min. Best kept secret found, by accident. Nonetheless

Wow, Peace Street’s beer selection (curated by Chris) is SO impressive! Lots of rare and unusual brews, some of which you can’t find anywhere except the actual breweries — and at incredibly good prices.

This is the go to spot in downtown Raleigh if you want an awesome selection of craft beer at reasonable prices. They stock all of the same beer that you would find in a craft beer store except it is a convenient store as well. So if you want a bag of chips and a Gatorade for later, you can get it all at the same time 😃. Oh yeah, and the owner is usually working during the day and he is helpful and friendly. Don't pass by the Peace Street Market because you only think the carry Miller Lite or you will be mistaken.
