I like Kowalski's. Their bakery is excellent. Their hot bar area is always clean, so you don't feel like the food might be sketchy. The people who work there are always helpful and friendly. I get confused with the checkout part, but I just kind of hand everything over and they're very kind. The store is always clean, the parking lot, too. Two thumbs up!

I asked the lady there for a sweet wine in the $30 range. The wine she suggested was very bitter. I'm honestly disappointed. I wanted a tasty wine to celebrate my new apartment. I hope the chardonnay is better. I spent nearly $100. I was hoping to get what I asked for at the very least. I won't be returning.

Small location but covers bases. Perfect for those who want 1 stop shopping. Occasionally has odd ball treasures. I found a delicious Scottish ale last week I had never seen anywhere.

I went for the build your own pasta (which I've done several times before) and the person helping us kept commenting on how the order I was placing "wouldn't fit in the container" even though I've done this dozens of times. Then he printed out the wrong label, I was charged double what I would normally pay at the register even though he chinced on all the ingredients, and the when I asked the clerk about it he shrugged and said "that's the way it is." I paid almost 20 dollars for pasta that wasn't made the way I wanted, didn't taste the way I liked it and I ended up throwing it out. Terrible experience.

I love that they have single can options. It's fun to try new bevvies but not but an entire case/pack. Not a good selection on spirits, but they're open until 10. That is a perk, considering the other neighborhood spots close early some nights.
