WARM IS THE NORM - If you like to enjoy a cold beer, be sure to allow enough time to chill down beer you buy here in your own fridge before its consumption. Their beer coolers along the wall near the register seem to be around 50 to 55 degrees or so, and are likely in need of service. I went in here at close to 9pm and had the misfortune of finding most of the beer not quite piss warm, but not really that chilled either. Next time I’ll bring my infared thermometer and post photos of the actual temperature. But in any event, I really feel like I could do better at some different beer shop across town. And yes, they do make you travel across town, for beer or wine. Unfortunately, these places with a state liquor license kind of have a printing press by virtue of a government-imposed barrier to entry into the business of selling beer or wine. So they aren’t so incentivized to have competitive offerings, you know, such as a cold beer cooler. That’s perhaps mostly an after thought for many of them, perhaps for this Ken and Norm’s place as well. Also, if you do shop here, pay with cash (as I did) and pay less, as do they charge a 3.5% surcharge for payments by debit card or credit card.

This place is great. Fair prices, and a good selection, but the best part is that you can tell the staff your budget and what you like, and they will help you get the most for your buck. $40 bourbon on sale for $20? Yes please! Absolutely an awesome selection of Bourbons and wine. Well worth the visit. As a bonus, the place is super clean!

Wonderful, thoughtful, and knowledgeable Staff. It's close to home and quite convenient. Our oldest Son suggested we shop there.

The BEST example of a local liquor store that you will find! From the free tastings to the excellent customer service you simply won’t find better! We went in for one bottle of wine and walked out with FIVE! That in itself should tell you something!!!! 👍🏼
