I was skeptical going at first becsuse it was late at night when I arrived. They stay open till 3am. The atmosphere was welcoming, music was playing that had me dancing while I picked out my likka lol, and the staff were friendly. 🥂🍹

Went here yesterday to buy a few bottles for my wedding because I was told they had the cheapest prices. Turns out, the prices marked on the shelves are not what they charge you. I could have went to total wine and saved $10 on the same 6 bottles I bought!! My total came to $167.. I paid $150 in cash, and the other $17 was charged to my debit card. In addition to being lied to about pricing, I was double charged after using my debit card being that the lady swore the charge didn’t go through!! I live in St. Pete and drove all the way to north Tampa just to get robbed by this store.. Needless to say, I will not be returning!!!

Place can get crowded but that's because of the "stupid" prices and they cram an awful lot of inventory into a not so large area... For beer they are competitive pricewise but for liquor they have some really good deals. They have a couple non alcoholic beers on the aisle shelf area, just basic Michelob or Heineken but hey, it's something for the NA ppl out there.

I have been going To Dewey’s since I moved to Tampa and they have always had the best service. However, after living here for four years, I went into Dewey’s and I bought a bottle of rum. When I got home, My Chihuahua ran under my feet and I dropped the bottle and it shattered. I went back to Dewey’s to buy a replacement bottle, which I did, but the staff informed me that if I brought back the unopened bottle top they would give me a replacement bottle. I brought back the entire bag you see in the photos with the unopened bottle shards and they gave me a replacement on the spot. After living in Tampa for four years, as well as Naples, Panama Ciry Beach, Gainesville, Marco Island, Bonita Springs, Miami, and Chipley I can tell you that Dewey’s liquor is the best liquor store with the best staff in all of Florida and it’s not even close. Shout out to all the staff!
