Alright, I waited a year to write this but I knew I would eventually.. It's important that you listen to the negative reviews. It's time for this store to GO! Simply, don't buy your booze here. Let's truly work together on this! Go to Argonaut or ANYWHERE else. But I highly recommend Argonaut. First: The prices at this location are 2x the cost of Argonauts. Second: I used to frequent here because of the convenience... I think it's the manager I'm talking about but he started giving me grief on my purchases.. and even came across very, very, very racist and stereotyping me. For example.. If I were to buy Patron.. He would say, "why don't you buy Hennessey?" So I stopped acknowledging him when I went in.. and because of THAT he banned me from the store... Think about that for a second. I left the store with my middle finger in the air at him. It's super rare that I'm confrontational. I believe in treating people with love and respect and receiving it. He definitely doesn't align with those beliefs. It's a cancer of the beautiful neighborhood we live in. I hope this helps you.

Seven hours late. Wrong items. Zero accountability.Ordered through DoorDash. Simple transaction, right? Wrong. Seven hours later - SEVEN HOURS - they show up with the wrong stuff. Called the store for a solution. Got the classic runaround: "We can't tell you where our driver is, but they'll be there at some point." Wanted to cancel? "Well if you cancel now, then you won't be refunded anything. So I can't help you, sir. "That's not customer service, that's financial hostage-taking with a smile. Here's what blows my mind: 171 reviews, 3.6 stars, and when you actually read them, it's a graveyard of one-star horror stories. This isn't bad luck. This is a pattern. This is a business model built on incompetence and trapping customers. You had ONE job: deliver the correct alcohol in a reasonable timeframe. You failed spectacularly at both, then held my money hostage when I tried to fix your mistake. The fact that this place continues to operate with hundreds of one-star reviews telling the same story is impressive in the worst way possible. They've perfected the art of disappointing customers, gaslighting them when they complain, and keeping their money anyway. There are dozens of liquor stores in Denver that can actually deliver what you order when they say they will. Revolutionary concept, I know.Stay far away. Your time and money are worth more than this. There's a reason people keep warning you - listen to them.This isn't a liquor store. It's a masterclass in how to scam customers while running a business into the ground.

A true (and literal) Denver cornerstone! They have an incredible selection of DOC and DOCG wines, perfect for anyone who appreciates high-quality Italian vino. Their variety of unique tequilas is impressive, with options you won’t find in most places. The prices are fantastic, and the staff is beyond friendly—super knowledgeable and give genuine opinions. Definitely my fav lil liquor store!

EDIT: I've now seen the loads of bad reviews from a year ago. Guess this place had one good customer service man and that man is gone. My group were all wearing face masks because of smoke pollution and because we are living in year five of the deadly Covid pandemic. -- end edit. This store doesn't want business. My friends and I visited Denver for a week. We planned to purchase spirits, mixers, and other household supplies on recommendation of a local. Two of our party were welcomed by the staff, encouraged to shop, and were browsing the aisles. Another two of our party, with goods in hand, were instructed by the same staff within moments to conclude our purchases promptly and exit the store. We four then set down our items in the aisles where we were and departed. No need to visit; they don't want anyone.

Take the extra time and go somewhere else. I frequent this store and have had nothing but bad experiences. The staff (with the exception of one worker) including the manager is always rude and anything but helpful. On top of that, the prices are much higher than anywhere in Denver. Do yourself a favor and being your business elsewhere.
