Worse customer service ever! Lady there is rude, gets upset easily and they over charge for everything. Go to SKYLINE SPIRITS just couple blocks down they have way better customer service and they don’t charge ridiculous prices.

I was appalled to see that Capitol Hill Liquors has 1.7 stars. We live just a few blocks away and it is our favorite go-to place for a bottle of wine, margarita mix or a quick shooter. Yes, if you are expecting big box store prices, you will not find it here as they can't buy the volume of the big stores. But they are competetively priced with the other small liquor stores in the area. This is a family-owned, small store where they know you when you walk in the door and instantly offer what you usually buy. They ask about your day and remember what you talked about on your last visit. It is our "Cheers" liquor store, where everyone knows your name. We will continue to patronize this business as long as we are in the neighborhood, and you should too!

The recent settlement highlighting this racist owner is reason enough to not give this story my business ever again. Even before recent events, products have been overpriced in general, and the rung up prices vary every time I've bought something. It's as if they charge you based on your appearance and their particular mood that day. Plus, the selection is very limited. I highly recommend supporting another one of the neighborhood stores.

Not sure about the other reviews mentioning prices not listed - most prices are displayed but they're the most ridiculously high prices of any store I've been to in Denver (fifth of Bulleit and fifth of Tito's should not cost $81). Owners are very nice though.

DON'T GO HERE. It is horrible. There are no prices on any of the shelves. WHO DOES THAT? Better yet, who buys anything from a merchant unwilling to display their prices. What do they do... make prices up on the spot? How would you know if they do or if they don't? Here is the thing.... the employee (can't tell you who because I would not want to get them in trouble) explained to me that most six packs are $10.00. This came after I asked where the prices were posted. I explained to the employee that was ridiculous, they agreed! As a matter of fact the employee was nice enough to refer me to a different store.
