This is one of those places you want to become a regular at. The staff are always friendly, greet you with a smile, well wishes on the way out, and they have good prices, especially right up the road from the Tank. Just all around one of the best businesses I have shopped at.

Google led us here after a search for"liquor stores near me", only to discover that they can't sell liquor! Attendant said noone on The Alameda (in San Jose) can actually sell hard liquor. Please take down the sign that says "liquor", as we would never have stopped here otherwise. Bad neighborhood.

Great store with a wide array of selection and competitive prices. Owner and staff are always willing to help and are open to feedback for items they do not have in store that you want. Definitely recommend checking it out!

Clean store. Prices are questionable. Got a soda and chips. Soda showed a price of $1.25 on the total screen when scanned, chips showed $1.89 when scanned, but the guy removed the chips from the screen and inputted his own price of $2.89….
