I was riding one of those scooters that the city provides having fun when it started to rain. I was across from Roy's and decided to stop in to get an energy drink and to get out of the rain. I bought the drink and stayed outside against the building away from the entrance where it was dryish. I finished the drink and didn't see a trash can out front. I re-entered the store and asked if I could throw the can in the trash. He stated, "I am not responsible for your trash and you cant hang out in front of the store." It was still raining. I told him I didn't want to litter and was trying to stay dry. Didn't care. Threw the can in the trash can that was a few houses away from the store. I was amazed. Far cry from when the old man and his wife owned the store. The Laos' were always friendly and understanding. I am not a vagrant and was not disturbing customers. Just trying to stay dry. You just lost a customer with that attitude. Won't step foot in their again. Unwelcoming No empathy Judgemental

The staff are very knowledgable about their stock and are very passionate about sharing with their real customers. They really care about the local clientele, and it’s admirable that they don't take crap from disrespectful people or stuck up whiskey resellers. Their selection is very interesting, with fair prices and they are always chill. It feels good supporting this local family business.

“Hidden gem” doesn’t even describe it. Super cool spot, as good as a selection as I’ve ever seen here in Tucson, chill employees and it’s family owned. Support local- this corner store is legit!
